the story of peak organic brewery

This all began in 1998 when my friend Will and I bought some small brewing equipment for our friend Marti on his birthday. We would go on to brew incessantly that year, creating some outstanding and interesting beers such as Pear Ale, Hoppy Honey Wheat and an Apricot Ale.

Most often, the beers were enjoyed after “peak” experiences such as a spectacular day in the outdoors or quality time spent with friends and family.

Over the years, the recipes would become further honed and would be made with various pieces of equipment and in several different locations.

organic barleyAs time went on, the idea of corporate social and environmental responsibility became a focal point. Organic ingredients were used in the batches and resulted in outstanding improvements to the recipes. At that time, the mission of the company became clear—to make the world’s most delicious beers, and to make them in a way that we can feel good about.
